Description
Tips: Before and during drinking

Ethanol is a depressant drug.

- Know what you're drinking. i.e % alcohol
- Stay with friends you know and trust
- Don't drink on an empty stomach
- Drink slowly and space drinks out

- Avoid mixing drinks with drugs (illegal or legal)
- Drink a pint of water before bed
- Keep an eye on your drink at all times (drink spiking)
- Females have lower tolerance and can be effected more quickly

- Smoking weed on top of drinking can make you whitey.

Positive
- Relaxing, Mood Lifting, Anaesthetic, Increased Confidence, Can make you feel more outgoing and laid back.
Neutral
Law
Slurred speech, flushed skin, Drowsiness, Focussing becomes difficult, increased tolerance, Silliness, lowered inhibitions.

Not as simple as it first appears. Generally speaking, alcohol should not be sold to under 18s. Police have powers to confiscate alcohol from under 18s drinking in public.
Local bye laws further complicate things, so check it out.

Negative
Warning: do not drive or operate machinery or try to do anything remotely sensible while under its influence.

Decreased co-ordination, puking, violent actions, confusion, depression, unwanted sex, risk of addiction, alcohol poisoning, unconsciousness, death.

Too much drinking in a short space of time can lead to alcohol poisoning, coma and death
