Crew
2000’s outreach services includes delivering our range of
education, advice and support services in a variety of locations,
being proactive and not waiting until people come to us for information
on drugs, sexual health issues means that we have to go out to where
people are.
The
variety of locations we work in includes:

club bars

and arts festivals
- Colleges
and Universities
- Streetwork

The
work is exciting, challenging but ultimately rewarding and we reach
many thousands of people each year in this way.
Services
we provide at the various locations includes ‘Crisis interventions’
and chill outs for people who are experiencing difficulties due
to their drug use, ‘Information stalls’ for drug and
sexual health advice, and the provision of condoms for ‘safer
sex’.
All
this work is done by volunteers and staff who are given training
on all aspects of the work undertaken.
